Have the "Time of Your Life" with Dirty Dancing

I went to see this on Tuesday night. It was a birthday present from my boyfriend and it was the last week of the show before it went on tour so was hoping for something amazing. I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed. What a let down. Dancing was half-hearted, singing (or lack there-off) was boring. Accent and acting was limp and lifeless. I was expecting cheese but this was beyond. I was really looking forward to this as was my favourite film when i was young girl. We left after the first half and i think we were not the only ones. Please please please do something with the show and bring it back. I really wanted to love this.

If I could give a rating of 0 for this musical I would. It is probably the worst thing I have ever seen in London and I have seen nearly everything. I have seen better acting, scenery and effort in a local school play. My daughter and I paid a lot of money each to see this absolute pile of rubbish for my 53rd birthday. I wish we had saved our money! There was no ambiance among the cast and it was as if they wanted to get each scene out of the way and off stage as soon as possible. The lead man was OK but the lead girl was appalling. She could not act, sing or dance at all. The scenery and props were amateurish and my daughter was almost in tears as she was so disappointed that my birthday treat had ended so badly. We wish we had gone with our second choice and seen Wicked. Such a shame as we saw this in London about 5 years ago and at that time it was fantastic. We have heard that the Spice Girls musical was quickly withdrawn from this theatre and the touring version of Dirty Dancing put in its place. It should of stayed on tour! Please don't waste your money.

Went to see the Dirty Dancing performance with a friend at the Piccadilly theatre in London. The show was brilliant as were the actors. I would highly recommend this show! And the theatre staff were helpful and friendly.

A truly fantastic show, the whole cast put on a wonderful performance. The set was really well put together and the band were superb. The cast sang to perfection and the dancing was absolutely fabulous. A must see show and I would love to see if again.

Saw this show on tour in Manchester and it was genuinely amazing! It made my year! The show was bursting with energy and had amazing choreography and catchy songs, some of which you will know from the film. The show is pretty sexy and a great laugh!

Nobody puts baby in the corner! Fab show and a perfect film to stage adaptation. Yeah it's cheesy, but who doesn't love cheese?
